These two just celebrated one year of wedded bliss! Happy Anniversary to an amazing couple with the most beautiful wedding day and an obvious deep desire that their wedding be only the beginning of an even more beautiful marriage.
Zoe and CJ brought their So Cal vibes up the coast to celebrate their wedding day in Willamette Valley wine country. The gorgeous backdrop and stunning property that Zenith vineyard provides is the perfect mix of epic winery views and a laid back intimate setting. These two were all about that classic outdoor elegance.
Zoe's color palette was before it's time and so unique in the moment. It is always a dream to have a bride who puts her trust in her vendors letting us create something tailored just for her.
Besides the beautiful color choice, Zoe's floral requests were a bit more unique than the standard order. Since her Aunt and Uncle own a local flower farm, they were hoping to feature those special blooms on their special day. In the end we were able to find the perfect blend of sources to pull these fresh and romantic designs together. Zoe and her ladies spent a day at the farm earlier in the week carefully selecting and cutting each stem they wanted included, if that isn't the ultimate Oregon experience, I don't know what is!
I mean...Oh My WORD these flower girls where just as charming as they were adorable!
From the bride . . .
"Our favorite part of the day was hands-down the ceremony. My father built the the 10 foot cross that was the focal point behind us at the ceremony, walked me down the aisle, and performed the ceremony. Our mothers were of course seated in the places of honor, CJ’s father opened the ceremony with a prayer, and all seven of our siblings & siblings-in-law stood with us as a part of the wedding party along with our closest friends. It was so meaningful to us to be so literally surrounded and supported by the people who mean the most to us in the world as we committed our lives to each other."
"Particularly it was special to see all the small touches with meaning that everyone else may not have necessarily known about: things like the gold vase centerpieces that I had gone to three different stores to find enough of, the bonnet from my dedication that was used as a handkerchief to put the communion bread on, and the flowers that my bridesmaids and I had fun cutting ourselves a couple days prior at my aunt and uncle’s farm. Our florist Ali was so wonderful to work with us to include those flowers that we got to cut ourselves, and absolutely made our vision of soft and romantic florals come to life. It was also special that our four flower girls were the daughters of my cousins who had been the flower girls at my parent’s wedding 31 years ago!"
In the end, their reception was the intimate garden party they planned for, filled with a bounty of blooms, details galore, special touches, and plenty of love to go around.

When Allie first approached me to design for her beautiful wedding day at Zenith Vineyard in Salem, OR, I was thrilled to be pushed outside of the typical white and blush color palette. What resulted was a lively and elegant expression of color and joy. I love when a couple owns their day and looks beyond the pretty pinterest boards for inspiration. My number one advice to my couples it to do just that. Don't be afraid to claim your day and truly make it a reflection of you.

Each Year Oregon Bride Magazine accepts nominations for local vendors and compiles a "Best of" list for their publication. The winners of each category are printed in the Summer issue of the magazine, creating great exposure for the vendors, and a treasured contact list for brides across the state. Just like reviews and word of mouth feedback, this is an incredible opportunity for YOU to feature the vendors that mean the most to you. This round of nominations is open to EVERYONE!
For the past 3 years, Ali Briskey designs has attended the "Best of Bash" and was ecstatic to be a finalist last year in our category. This year, with your help, we are coming for the WIN!
We would be delighted if you would take a few minutes to vote! You need to nominate at least 6 vendor categories, so if you need some suggestions, please reach out as we have worked with so many of the "best of the best!"
Brides are highly encouraged to cast a vote and nominate all of the amazing vendors who worked with you on your special day.
It would be an honor and we would be oh so grateful if you would consider nominating Ali Briskey designs for "Best florist" on the "Outside Portland" ballot.
